Winner 2014 Akron-Canton Hotlist for Best New American Restaurant

Shane and Amy Moore own the Wolf Creek Tavern. They purchased the building in December 2013, and have worked tirelessly to bring quality & character to this historical establishment.

Shane was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, and moved to Ohio in 1995 after riding his bicycle from San Francisco to New York. It was during this 3,437 mile ride that he met Amy in the town of Norton, Ohio. Today, that bicycle hangs on the wall in the dining room within the tavern.
They were married in 1997 and have lived in Norton since.

Amy is a lifelong resident of Norton and remembers first visiting that tavern as a child when she was with her grandfather Vern.

Their motto is "it takes a community to build a tavern", and with the help of many friends and family members, Shane and Amy have transformed this historical establishment into a truly unique destination.
